Best Drink to Boost Your Morning

Dr Leah Meadows here and quick question for you.

Are you drinking most of your calories in the morning before you even like get to work?

Well, this is not the way to go if you want to lose weight, if you want to feel good and if you want

to have a productive day.

So I’m going to teach you a really easy way to lose weight to increase your brain potential and feel satisfied all morning so that you don’t even have to think about it.

Let’s go.

All right, so this is called bulletproof coffee, and Dave Asprey actually started this trend with some research as well.

So the very first thing that you’re going to need is some high quality coffee. I like to use any type of organic coffee so you can either use your drip coffee maker or you can use two shots of espresso and 16 or 24 ounces of water to go with that.

Next, we’re going to take a tablespoon of grass fed butter, so make sure it’s grass fed, grass finished because that’s a healthy butter. That’s going to be good for feeding your cells fat for fuel instead of sugar, which is super important so you don’t get that crash after a sugary drink.

Then you’re going to want to get some MCT oil. What MCT oil is is it’s actually like the core building block of coconut oil. And you’re going to also use a tablespoon of that. That’s really, really good for your brain, your brain power, so the gut brain food as well in the morning instead of just like a sugary drink or something like that.

So what I like to do is I put them all in the blender. It’s delicious.

Then as an added bonus, you don’t have to do this for bulletproof coffee, but it is really nice to get some collagen into your body.

So collagen, we stop producing college at around the age of 25, sometimes 30. I’m almost 50, so I really love to get that collagen into my body on a daily basis.

So same thing here, this is about a quarter of a cup of crystallized collagen and a really great way of adding it in every day to your meal. Get it all together and enjoy!
